Become a Member!
The National Hispanic Environmental Council (NHEC) invites you to join us in our work! Become a part of a growing national non-profit organization committed to ensuring our community has a voice in environmental decision-making. Since our inception in 1995, NHEC has provided a forum for Hispanic (and non-Hispanic) professionals, students, and others who want to protect our nation's environment and preserve our cultural and natural resource heritage. As a member, you will join a network of committed individuals from every environmental/natural resource discipline who want to be good stewards of our environment, share information and opportunities, give back to our communities, and bring much-needed diversity to the environmental movement.
Membership is free!
The mission of the National Hispanic Environmental Council is to educate, unite, and engage our community on environmental and sustainable development issues; encourage Hispanics to actively work to preserve and protect our environment; provide a national voice for Hispanics before federal and other key environmental decision-makers; and actively assist Hispanics to pursue the many career, business, educational and policy opportunities in the environmental and natural resources fields. Our guiding credo is: “because it's our environment too”.
